Walked along to Bank House and back round to where we ‘d parked (ladybirds, Eiders, Lapwings and chicks, a few butterflies, a Reed Bunting and 7 hares). Then on to Glasson Dock (Avocets, Dunlins, Cormorant, Little Egret), a short walk in the woods at Thurnham (micro moth), finishing off with a walk by the canal (Early Purple Orchid). Being a cool, overcast day, there wasn’t much insect activity.
