Julie – Carnforth recce, 25th April 2026

This is a circular walk of 6.5 miles, with no stiles and no big inclines.
Leaving the Canal Turn Pub at Carnforth we walk along the canal.
We cross over the M6 motorway using the bridge, and then we walk to Nether Kellett where we get good views of Morecambe Bay using the view point of the quarry.
Then we walk over fields, have a safe walk on the road, and then walk to Over Kellett through woodland.
We walk back along the canal to the pub.
