Dave and Carol – Windermere walk, 11th April 2026

A really enjoyable walk of about 6 miles, starting in Windermere. We walk up to Orrest Head on the new easier paths, and then continue on to Holehird Gardens for lunch in wonderful surroundings. After admiring the garden and floral displays we head back to Windermere and then continue down to Miller Ground, where we have a short break by the lake before walking along the shore and back to the coach. We will then be dropped off at Ings for drinks and toilets before setting off home. Hope you enjoy the day – Dave and Carol
