Margaret Sowerby – Jumbles and Wayoh recce, 16th of March 2024

Published by admin on

The walk is a flat 6.5 miles round the two reservoirs. A little wet in places, but fingers crossed it has dried up by Saturday. We will see a viaduct (hopefully just the once or twice ha ha). At Chapeltown we can stop to look at some war graves in the church yard, and notice the cockerel on the church steeple. The images show the fungus that we saw, views of the slipway and the railway viaduct. The videos show one of the overflows, the overspill funnel, and the slipway that comes from it.
Enjoy the walk, Margaret.

We should only pass the viaduct once!
