Chris Wareing – Slaidburn recce, 14th October 2023

Our penultimate walk on the 2023 section of the current programme…..just got back from a recci of Slaidburn circular walk. A published walk I followed says 6.5 miles make that 5.5 miles and was rated as “easy” can’t agree with that either. I’ve cut some poor bits out, we will be going over some assorted stiles, lush green grazing meadows, past 17th Century farms but be warned…..opened toe sandals not suitable on this walk!!!! C.W.
