Chris Butler – Arnside, 5th of August 2023

Our walk on Saturday begins and ends in Arnside. We will stop for coffee at Truckhaven. On arrival at Arnside, we will walk along the shoreline and then through the woods to Far Arnside. We will aim to eat lunch overlooking Morecambe Bay, close to Holgates.

After lunch we head towards Arnside Tower.

Then we make our way back to Arnside, circumventing, but not climbing, Arnside Knott. There are a few steady slopes on the walk which will be taken slowly. Once back in Arnside, there will be time for refreshments or shopping!!

The walk is around 6 miles.

Let’s hope we get some sunshine!
