A really enjoyable walk starting in Windermere, going up to Orrest Head on the new easier paths, and then continuing on (via 5 stiles) to Holehird Gardens for lunch in wonderful surroundings. After admiring the garden and floral displays we head back down to Miller Ground and have a short break by the lake before walking along the shore and back to the coach. We will then be dropped off at Ings for drinks and toilets before setting off home. Hope you enjoy the day – Dave, Carol and Simon
