Chris Wareing – Penwortham recce

The morning stop will be at Morrisons at Preston Docks. The coach will then drop us at the start of the walk. We walk along the banks of the River Ribble until we are opposite the Steam Railway where we then turn inland, heading South and stopping for lunch before reaching and crossing the A59. After that we walk along side streets until we reach and cross the bypass, and then in a big loop we cross the bypass again over a footbridge. We then walk through Hurst Grange Park and end the walk at The Fleece Inn, for a walk of about 7 miles.
