Beverley Peacock – Burton in Kendal walk, 20th August

Another lovely walk today, according to my Fitbit I have walked just over eight miles and done 21,175 steps, of course that is from my house to bus stop and back which is about half a mile, so not bad going.
Thank you, Julie, for a walk full of differing scenery, from hills, to canal, with lots in between such as blackberry picking and eating, a beautiful caterpillar, to cows blocking the path, bit close for comfort passing those, even a game of cricket. Great walk, lovely pace, and a very friendly group to enjoy the day with. We were also lucky that the weather stayed dry for us, and the views at the lunch stop, even if a bit windy and colder than used to lately, were wonderful.
