Beverley Peacock – Ings walk, 6th August 2022

Another wonderful walk today, with the weather being much kinder than Ambleside. Lovely pace for walking and taking in the spectacular views that were on offer. Our lunch break was in a very peaceful setting, eating lunch whilst watching the family of swans made it even more relaxing.
It was a very manageable walk, I am really enjoying walking with you all, such a lovely set of people which makes walking a pleasure along with the fact that some know so much about things we come across that my knowledge of plants and wildlife increases every walk, not sure how long that knowledge will stay in my head, but its wonderful to be told about the things we are seeing.
