A lovely walk, albeit with different weather from the recce on Wednesday. My mistake was wearing the same clothes, assuming that the weather would be the same. Naturally the result from a day of continual rain was that my trousers and lightweight boots got a bit damp, but that didn’t spoilt the day at all, and I thoroughly enjoyed the day out with members old and new.
The first photos are from the sunny recce on Wednesday and the rest are from the damp walk on Saturday. Hope to see everyone on the next walk at Ings, which will give us a view of Windermere.
