Simon Graham – Penwortham, 30th October 2021

After a damp start the weather began to improve and we soon started seeing blue sky through the grey clouds. We walked along the bank of the River Ribble until we were opposite the Steam Railway. We then turned inland, heading South and stopping for lunch before reaching and crossing the A59. After that we walked along side streets until we reached and crossed the bypass, and then in a big loop we crossed the bypass again over a footbridge which gave us good views of the day’s rainbows. We then walked through Hurst Grange Park and ended the walk at The Fleece Inn, for a total of nearly 7.5 miles. Thanks Chris.
