February 2026 update – as explained on the News page and the Programme page, we may occasionally need to make last minute changes to the destination of planned walks, although we hope that we won’t have to do that as many times this season. Changes/updates will be highlighted in Red.

February 2026
Sat 7^th (no coach), Stanah/Skippool in Thornton, led by Diane. Meet at Wyre Estuary Country Park car park (FY5 5LR) for 1:00pm (click here for map).
We’ll walk from the car park and along the river bank to Blackpool & Fleetwood Yacht Club, where will stop for refreshments/toilets. They are providing a room for us so that we can hold our AGM, and afterwards we’ll walk back to the car park.

Sat 6^th (no coach), Lytham, led by Rosemary. Meet in the car park on the left of Lytham Station (click here for a map) for 1:00pm and parking is free. If for any reason the walk is cancelled Pan says that everyone can still come to her house for lunch. She will prepare the food in the morning so that she can come on the walk, and Ting said she will bring Chinese food.
