Lovely scenic circular walk from Grasmere village. It was wonderful to be walking in the picturesque Lake District again with a great group of friends.

This was my recce for a walk I led on the 4th of September at Downham in the Ribble Valley, it was beautiful. A lovely walk of 6 miles from Worston, through farmland and past streams, passing through Downham and back to the Calf’s Head at Worston.
