Bill Taylor

For those who may not be aware, Bill passed away on 13th April. His funeral was on Wednesday 29th April and was well attended within the current restrictions. His presence and good nature will be sorely missed on future walks. (Simon)

At 12 noon on Wednesday 29th April 2020, a beautiful service was held at Carleton Crematorium celebrating the life of William (Bill) Taylor, 7th May, 1938-13th April, 2020.
He was a very, special friend, who will be missed enormously and he will be remembered with great fondness by so many!
“Memories are the loveliest thing, they last from day to day, they can’t get lost, they don’t wear out and can’t be given away”
I will keep you informed when a date is arranged for Internment of the Ashes.
Donations, if so desired, to Trinity Hospice please. They can be made by going on Hollowell’s website or FB page and donating online or completing a Bank Transfer form. Alternatively you can post a cheque to any of Hollowell’s Funeral Homes. Please remember to indicate that they are in memory of Bill Taylor.

I can not say how much Bill is missed by everyone who had the pleasure of knowing him.
He introduced me to the walking groups which helped me through dark times which we all have from time to time.
The loss of his wife broke Bill harder than he would admit to but they are now dancing in the clouds together again.
RIP William.

Bill was such an integral part of our group: always looking on the bright side and encouraging everyone around him, a ‘glass-half-full’ bloke!!
Great memories of him will keep us going, but it won’t be quite the same without him.
He was everyone’s friend and great company: I was very glad to have known him.
Rest in Peace Bill and thanks for your friendship. xx
